הַיּ֧וֹם הַחִלֹּ֛תִי לשאול־[לִשְׁאָל־] ל֥וֹ בֵאלֹהִ֖ים חָלִ֣ילָה לִּ֑י אַל־יָשֵׂם֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ בְּעַבְדּ֤וֹ דָבָר֙ בְּכָל־בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֔י כִּ֠י לֹֽא־יָדַ֤ע עַבְדְּךָ֙ בְּכָל־זֹ֔את דָּבָ֥ר קָטֹ֖ן א֥וֹ גָדֽוֹל׃
Alboż teraz dopiero zacząłem radzić się dlań Boga! Dalekiem to odemnie! Niechaj nie posądza król o nic sługi swego, ani całego domu ojca mojego, albowiem nie miał sługa twój o całej tej sprawie najmniejszego pojęcia.
